How long is shipping?

We proudly ship from our warehouse in the United States, so no need to worry about overseas shipping. Orders are shipped ASAP after they are placed. 

If you are in the United States: Shipping is usually between 2-7 business days within the United States. Typical shipping time is around 5 days. For Puerto Rico or U.S. Territories, expect 3-8 business days. 

If you are an international customer: Countries that experience a high shipping volume (The UK, Germany, Australia, France, Spain, Greece, Norway, Sweden, China) will see quicker shipping times. If your country is listed above, expect 5-14 business days to receive your order. If your country experiences a low shipping volume, expect 7-35 days to receive your order. We have had many customers in smaller countries all over the world and we always try our best to deliver. Please provide as much detailed shipping information as possible to help ensure a successful delivery. 

 

When do they change color?

Our swimsuits change color based on temperature. When the swimsuit is warm (above 79 ℉), the swimsuit will be one color and when the trunks are cool they will be another color. (Hint: try jumping back and fourth from the pool to the hot tub for a lot of fun!) As they dry, our swimsuits create amazing abstract designs and no two swimsuits are alike. Each pair of swimming trunks if a custom canvas, with a new design every time. 

How do they work?

The fabric of our swimsuits has been treated with a heat reactive pigment that has been encapsulated into the fabric. Specifically, it is called a Leuco dye. This dye is very special because the molecules in it change their form based on temperature. At cooler temperatures the molecules have a contracted form that represent one color, and at warmer temperatures the molecules take up an expanded, different form that represents another color. The expanded/compacted state of these molecules effects the way that light reflects off the swimsuits. Since the molecules are fully temperature reactive, you will also see a gradient between the colors, which is why we call our swimsuits "A Painting of a Swimsuit". Because of this special dye, there is are specific care instructions (Read Below). 

How should I care for them?

It is preferred that you wash your swimsuit on the delicate cycle and use the low heat dryer setting or preferably let them air dry.  Do not line dry in direct sunlight, as the UV rays tend to cause the trunks to fade (As with most clothes).
